Like the ocean's constant ebb and flow, the arrival of a new Tidal Wave update remains inevitable. As we're frequently inundated with new music it's easy for certain songs to get lost in the shuffle. Yet with our new Tidal-Exclusive playlist, we can hone in on the ones that really caught our attention. With several high-profile drops rounding out the week, including projects from Offset, Lil Pump, and Gunna, there was no shortage of ground to cover. In fact, last week might have been 2019's biggest Friday thus far.
Offset and J. Cole's collaboration earned plenty of praise, as did several cuts off the Migos rapper's Father Of 4 album. Freddie Gibbs and Madlib's "Flat Tummy Tea" was an instant favorite among a few of us (who are eagerly anticipating that Bandana joint). A few fancied some Harverd Dropout cuts, though they'll never tell whether it was Lil Pump who lured em' in, or simply "the features."
