Petey Pablo has been locked up for the last 2 years on a gun smuggling charge. The "Raise Up" rapper was sentenced to 35 months when he attempted to take a stolen gun through airport security back in September of 2010.
4 months ahead of schedule, Petey has been released, and he's apparently ready to jump headfirst into the rap game once again.
In fact, he's already got some work with Timbaland lined up.
"I'm now headed to the work shop," he said. "To begin what will be noted as my best work ever with one of the greatest producers of all time."
Look out for new music from the Petey in the near future, and watch his classic video for the Timbaland-produced track, "Raise Up" below.
