WWE superstar John Cena has main-evented Wrestlemania, starred in a number of movies, hosted the ESPYs and holds the record for most wishes granted for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Now, he is prepared to host one of the highest-rated talks shows on television.
As announced by Ellen, Cena will be the guest host for Friday's episode of "The Ellen Degeneres Show" - and despite all that he has accomplished both in and out of the WWE ring Cena says he is still "so nervous" and "so not trying to break anything!"
The 16-time WWE champion will be joined on the "EllenMania" show by Leslie Mann and Jenna Dewan.
Because the show was taped in advanced, some footage from the episode has already surfaced - including his opening credit sequence which you can check out in the video embedded below.
Cena, 41, has recently spent time in Canada filming a new project, "Playing With Fire," where he was spotted with a mystery brunette later identified as Shay Shariatzadeh, a product manager from Vancouver.
Despite his acting duties, Cena made a trip back to the U.S. for an appearance at Wrestlemania 35 on April 7. In a surprise to the sold out crowd at MetLife Stadium, he reprised his role as the "Dr. of Thuganomics" for a segment with Elias.
