The comedian's latest special will be released on March 19.

Actress Amy Schumer and newlywed husband Chris Fischer didn't waste any time when it came to developing their romance. Six months after they met they were living together and it only took another six months for them to exchange "I dos" in a Malibu, California ceremony in early 2018. By the Fall, these two announced that they were expecting their first child together and the soon-to-be-mom was giddy with preparations.

Following in the footsteps of other pregnant comedians who take to the stage while expecting, Schumer linked up with Netflix for a standup special title Amy Schumer: Growing that brings both the laughs and a baby bump. The comedian kept working and touring throughout her pregnancy as much as she could, however in November Schumer was hospitalized due to hyperemesis gravidarum (HG), also known as extreme morning sickness. The condition causes expectant mothers to vomit constantly throughout the day, impeding on their day-to-day activities. Schumer assured fans that both she and her baby were in good health.

In Amy Schumer: Growing, the actress jokes about her life's turnaround as a married, pregnant woman. “But here’s the thing, you’re pregnant but like you don’t change who you are, I hate women who start to act like really precious. Like, you don’t stop being you, you know, you don’t stop working...or drinking.” Schumer also delivers funny lines about hoping to never be a bridesmaid anymore, the awkwardness of engagement proposals, and why no one should enjoy being pregnant.

Unfortunately, last week Schumer revealed on Instagram that she would have to cancel her tour due to her HG diagnosis. “I am not cleared to fly for the next couple of weeks. I am going to cancel the remainder of my tour. Refunds are available at point of purchase," she wrote. "I am in my 3rd trimester and I am still nauseous all the time and vomiting. I vomit mostly every time I ride in a car even for 5 minutes.” Schumer said that as much as she loves standup (and money!) she has to think of her health and that of her unborn child.
