Eminem's been making some big announcements as of late, including founding his own rap battle league and becoming the first rapper to headline London's Wembley Stadium. Now, he's taken to Instagram to reveal plans for a new video for Marshall Mathers LP 2 cut "Headlights," set to be directed by the legendary Spike Lee.
The video, dropping on Mother's Day (that's this Sunday, May 11th), will be the fifth from Em's 2013 album, preceded by "Survival," "Berzerk," "Rap God" and "The Monster." "Headlights," which features Nate Ruess of the band Fun., is one of many songs Eminem has released that directly centers on his relationship with his mother. Unlike earlier tracks like "Cleaning Out My Closet," Em offers a more sentimental view of being raised by his mom, befitting the video's Mother's Day release date.
