Jussie's allowed to travel to see his legal team.

The happenings of Jussie Smollett are still a shock as people try and understand just why the Empire actor would stage such a horrible hate crime against himself. When news broke that Jussie was being looked at as a suspect rather than a victim, the Chicago Police said it was due to his salary. "Smollett took advantage of the pain and anger of racism to promote his career," Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson said.

Last week it was reported that Jussie was forced to hand over his passport and now Page Six reports that he has been given clearance to leave Illinois and travel to New York and California to meet with his legal team, but is not allowed to go anywhere else.

A lot of acts have spoken out about Jussie's allegations, with Vince Staples being one of the most recent ones, explaining how he should be set free.

"Ah, man, free the Juice Man. He's just running a little scam," he said. "Shit, the fact he feels like he has to do that says more about this world and less about him. Because nobody wants to do that. Hopefully he don't get time because police are smoking people, falsifying police reports, and they get to go home so let my boy go home."
