Nike Air Max 97
The shoe resembles the OG "Royal" colorway.

One of the most iconic basketball shoes of all time is the Penny Hardaway Nike Foamposite One. While it isn't a shoe that can be worn in every single situation, the Foamposite is a staple of sneaker culture and will forever live in infamy, even if not everybody is wearing them. Speaking of iconic shoes, the Nike Air Max 97 is still one of the most popular Air Max models of all time and has seen a huge resurgence over the past couple of years.

With Nike trying to find new inspirations for colorways of the classic Air Max, the Beaverton Brand is looking towards the OG "Royal" colorway of the Foamposite One. As you can see from the shoe, royal blue is found on the bottom half of the shoe, while black is found on the top. Meanwhile, the midsole is white with a translucent Air Max unit on the bottom.

Overall, it's an extremely clean colorway that will certainly appeal to all the nostalgic Nike consumers out there who love the look of the Foamposite.

There is no official release date for these yet but according to Sole Collector, they will cost $180 USD.
