Ever since the Xbox One released in November 2013 alongside the PlayStation 4, the console wars have been in full effect, with Sony and Microsoft battling it out to see who has the best console. While Sony has some great exclusives, Microsoft is known for supporting indie developers and offering free titles to its players. One of those initiatives that bring free games to consumers, is the Xbox Live Games With Gold campaign which sees free titles make their way to the Xbox One every single month. Sometimes these games are older and other times they're a bit more contemporary.
Today, Major Nelson of Xbox announced which games will be coming to gamers for free in February. Among the titles are Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon, Super Bomberman R, Assassin’s Creed: Rogue and Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. According to IGN, the first two games were originally released on the Xbox One, while Assassin's Creed was an Xbox 360 and Star Wars was an original Xbox game.
Back in January, Xbox released Far Cry 2, Celeste, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, and WRC 6 as part of Games With Gold.
Do any of the games coming out next month excite you or will you be holding off until March to download something?
