This weekend was a blast in Miami with hip-hop fans travelling across the country to witness the fifth anniversary of a festival that has become a go-to for the rap fans of the world. Rolling Loud was somewhat of a mess this year with several shooting scares on festival grounds, cancelled sets, arrests and more putting a damper on the overall vibe of the three-day fest for some people. Of course, not everybody let the unfortunate events ruin their weekend as the majority of folks leaving Hard Rock Stadium had a huge smile on their faces. YoungBoy Never Broke Again was one of the rappers scheduled to perform but when he and his entourage left their hotel, they were targeted by shooters, striking YoungBoy's girlfriend Kay Marie, grazing a five-year-old child and fatally shooting one man that was leaving work nearby. After some confusion stemming from him reportedly being detained by police, it has been revealed that nobody from NBA YoungBoy's camp will face charges because they only fired back in self-defense.
According to the Associated Press, NBA YoungBoy and his team will not be charged in relation to the shooting in Miami this weekend. His squad of ten people was legally armed and since they fired their weapons in self-defense, they won't be in trouble for what happened.
It all went down before Rolling Loud on Sunday outside of the Trump International Beach Resort Miami. YoungBoy's girlfriend is reportedly recovering after being shot.
