In the days leading up to the Pro Bowl, Jamal Adams of the New York Jets went pure savage mode when he made a blindside tackle on the New England Patriots mascot, Pat Patriot. During the moment, it looked pretty funny although in the aftermath of it all things got serious as it was reported that the mascot had to be treated for neck and jaw injuries. It was also reported that the mascot will be good to go for Sunday's Super Bowl in Atlanta.

Leading up to the Super Bowl this week is, of course, the media appearances that many of the players are forced to make. On Monday night, Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski was one of those players who had to face the media. During his press conference, the two-time Super Bowl winner was asked what he thought about Adams and his mascot assault.

Gronk promptly responded saying "We're going to have to figure a way out to get the revenge. That was not nice what he did. I heard the guy got seriously hurt!"

The tight end's future in the NFL is uncertain as he's made it clear he isn't sure yet whether or not he'll retire after the season. Either way, if Gronk comes back next season, Adams will have to watch out especially since the Patriots will play the Jets twice.
