McCourty has played nine seasons in the NFL.

When the Los Angeles Rams and the New England Patriots take to the field on Sunday for Super Bowl LIII, legacies will be on the line. Some of the more veteran players will be forced to reflect on their accomplishments and how they wish to proceed with their respective careers. Retirements will be announced, while others will continue to push through and play another season. One of the players that is thinking of that very decision is Patriots safety Devin McCourty.

McCourty has played all nine seasons of his career with the Patriots and at 31 years old, is thinking of calling it quits if the team wins on Sunday.

"I don't know for sure, man. But I do look at it -- if we can win this game, winning with my brother [Jason], I don't know what else I could do that could top that," McCourty explained according to ESPN. "So I'm just trying to make sure I enjoy this season and enjoy these last couple days with these guys."

In his nine seasons, McCourty has played in four Super Bowls, going onto his fifth and has won two of them. With his brother Jason on the team this season, a Super Bowl win would prove to be special.

Who do you think is going to take the big game?
