WWE superstar Roman Reigns made his much anticipated return to Monday Night Raw last night in Atlanta to provide an uplifting update regarding his battle with leukemia - "the Big Dog is back."
"I'm not going to lie -- before my announcement in October I was terrified. I was scared. I was insecure. And I didn't really know if I wanted to share that secret with the world," he told the cheering crowd.
"That overwhelming support that you gave me, it gave me strength, it gave me new life. It gave me a new opportunity and it gave me a new purpose," he added.
"The good news is, I'm in remission ya'll. So with that being said -- the Big Dog is back."
Reigns also appeared later in the show, along with Seth Rollins, to aid fellow Shield brother Dean Ambrose who had found himself on the receiving end of a 4-on-1 beat down courtesy of Elias, Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin.
Reigns connected with his signature "Superman Punch" on Lashley and hit McIntyre with a spear, much to the delight of the raucous crowd at State Farm Arena.
It remains to be seen what's next for Reigns, but we'll find out soon enough as the WWE's Road To Wrestlemania picks up ahead of the April 7 PPV.
