Coverage of the 2018 NBA Draft from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn will get underway tonight at 7:00pm ET, airing on ESPN as well as the Watch ESPN app. Unlike in previous years, ESPN reporters and those from other outlets have agreed not to reveal the picks early on twitter before they're announced on tv.
The Phoenix Suns will have the first pick in tonight's draft and all signs point to them selecting former Arizona Wildcats big man DeAndre Ayton. As a freshman, the 7'1, 19-year old averaged 20.1 points, 11.6 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game. In addition to earning Pac-12 Player of the Year honors, he was named a first-team AP All-American and he's expected to be an immediate game changer on both ends of the floor in the pros.
After that Suns pick, it's truly anybody's guess how the dominoes will fall. The Sacramento Kings are reportedly considering Marvin Bagley III and Luka Doncic with the #2 overall pick, although there's talk that they're also interested in Michael Porter Jr.
