Eminem has been busy hitting the stage in Australia for a string of tour dates, bringing the homies Royce Da 5'9" and Boogie along for the assist. So far, the journey has already led to a few memorable moments, including a brief revival of a beef long-thought dormant. Yet there has always been times for the laughter, as these days, Em is nothing if not jovial. Upon bringing out Bad Meets Evil associate Royce Da 5'9" for a back to back hit of "Caterpillar" and "Fast Lane," the pair appeared to add a dose of spectacle to the event.
Royce took to Instagram to share a lighthearted picture, which finds Bad pitted against Evil in a dueller's stance. Both seeming to employ different technical styles, it's difficult to discern who might hold the advantage. In his caption, Royce dubbed the whole thing "Immortal combat," proving that the inner-group camaraderie remains healthy and dynamic.
There have long been rumblings of a Bad Meets Evil reunion project, though admittedly fuelled by Royce. Still, it does feel like a next logical step for Slim Shady, who returned on a whim late last summer, to slap critics and fair-weather fans with Kamikaze. A follow-up to Hell: The Sequel would be a welcome surprise in 2019, and given the fun they seem to be having overseas, who knows what might transpire?
