Jennifer Lopez Breaks Silence On Alex Rodriguez Engagement

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are heading for marriage after spending two years together. Lopez revealed that they got engaged earlier this month after A-Rod popped the question during their romantic vacay in the Bahamas. Now, the two have broken their silence for the first time on the next stage of their relationship.

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez spoke to about their engagement for the first time since A-Rod popped the question in the Bahamas.

"We’re really happy,” Lopez told People Magazine. “We have [an] appreciation for where we are in our lives today, and that’s what we’re enjoying the most,” adds Rodriguez.

In addition to their engagement, the two revealed their first fashion partnership as a couple. A-Rod and J-Lo are the newest brand ambassadors for Quay Australia, an eyewear brand. The couple also inspired a couples collection: Quay x JLO and Quay x ARod

“Everything that we do, we do together,” Lopez said. “He knows my dreams and I know his dreams, and together we feel like we’re stronger.”

The two continue to have busy schedules. J-Lo is currently getting ready to shoot her new movie Hustlers this month and is set to his the road. Despite the hectic schedule, the two of them explained that they're always supporting each other with their respective endeavors.

"We’re constantly supporting each other in our individual endeavors and thinking about all the things that we can build together,” Lopez says. Adds Rodriguez: “We are very grateful.”
