G Herbo, known for his contributions to the Chicago hip-hop scene and greater involvement in the "off-beat flow" movement, is wasting little time in kicking off his 2019 campaign. With the year's first month coming to a close, Herbo has officially announced a new album called Still Swervin, which is set to arrive in a matter of days.
The project, which once again finds the rapper reunited with his longtime creative partner Southside, will be dropping on Friday, February 1st. Expect features from Gunna, Juice WRLD, Pretty Savage, and Lil 40, though whether they are truly the lone supporting players is anybody's guess.
Of course, the project is a sequel of sorts to last year's Swervo, a full-length collaborative project between Herbo and Sizzle. Now, Herbo has expressed interest in keeping the streets buzzing while he prepares a return to "Herbo" mode, which is likely an allusion to the oft-referenced "album mode." Either way, expect some new fire from Herbo and Southside come Friday, and sound off below. You ready for it?
