The tail end of 2018 was huge for Atlanta rapper 21 Savage. He released his album I Am > I Was which was one of the best projects of the year and showed the artist in a completely different context, displaying some impressive growth and showing people that he's more than the "gangster" image he portrayed in his early music. The first track on the album, "A Lot," with J. Cole, was a song that many gravitated to from the start and is now one of the singles on the album.

Considering the song's popularity, it only makes sense that it would be his first choice to perform if he were to appear on a late night show. Well, 21 had that opportunity when he appeared on the The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon last night. The rapper was joined on stage by a live band and some backup singers and gave an impressive performance of "A Lot."

21 started the performance sitting down on a stool and then sat up when the song got more intense. It was a fun performance but the only thing that was missing was a surprise appearance from J. Cole. Only one could dream.

What did you think of 21's Tonight Show appearance?
