UFC superstar Conor McGregor recently made an appearance at Binny's Beverage Depot in Chicago, as he continues to peddle his Proper 12 whiskey, where he explained to fans that he owes Nate Diaz another fight.
As seen in the video embedded below, McGregor is confident that the highly anticipated rubber match will happen.
"He fought me, he beat me. He gave me a rematch at the exact same weight, there was no hesitation, that's a true fighter right there," McGregor said.
"I have nothing but respect ... I owe him the trilogy now and the trilogy will happen."
Diaz made McGregor tap out in their first go around at UFC 196, but the Irishman bounced back with an epic five-round decision victory at UFC 202 in August 2016. Diaz, who has not fought since that 2016 fight, has said that he is done cutting weight, and recently suggested that he will return to the UFC as a 185-pound middleweight.
As it turns out, McGregor seems more than willing to fight at that weight if need be.

McGregor is still serving a suspension stemming from the post-fight brawl at UFC 229, but he'll be eligible to return to the octagon in late April.
ESPN's Ariel Helwani notes that the recently announced Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone vs Al Iaquinta match could pave the way for McGregor vs Diaz 3 later this year.
