Another week has come and gone, bringing forth the moment you've all been waiting for. The TIDAL Wave playlist has been updated with a new dose of staff picks, drawing from the past seven days and a little earlier, should the song hold a special place in our hearts. While not quite as busy as some weeks tend to be, we did see a flurry of activity from Lil Uzi Vert, Anderson .Paak, Tyga, French Montana, Beast Coast, and several more. Of course, Paak's Ventura provided a wealth of material to sift through, including some gems with Andre 3000, Nate Dogg, and Smokey Robinson.
A pair of Lil Uzi Vert singles captured the hearts of the masses, as well as a few of our own. Both "Sanguine Paradise" and "That's A Rack" emerged as fan favorites, with the Alex collective doubling down on their love of young Vert. Megan Thee Stallion's bawdy bedroom banger also caught a few votes, likewise did Tyga's D.A. Doman produced banger "Goddamn." As per usual, Devin CH looked beyond the box to bring some worldly flavor to the mix, while I opted to hold it down for the Beast Coast boys, in the name of their imminent debut.
