"No Lie," "Where U Been?," "Mercy," "Saturday Night," "MFN Right," -- these are but a few of the songs that 2 Chainz and Mike Will Made It have collaborated on in the past. With the release of Rap Or Go To The League, Chainz' fifth studio album, approaching, the rapper has revealed that Mike Will is returning for at least one instrumental on the project. Performing in Atlanta last night, Chainz introduced a new track called "Ex-Drug Dealer." "That's the old me," he told the crowd of the title.
"Had a half-ticket 'fore I met with Def Jam," he raps on the song, which features a characteristically minimal beat from Will. "Jeezy want a zip, and Weezy gonna buy everything except a brick."
Chainz also shared the title of the song in an out-of-context Instagram caption last week.
Check out a clip of Chainz performing the song, as pointed out by HipHopNMore, above. In February, he dropped his The Play Don't Care Who Makes It EP, which features the track "Proud" featuring YG and Offset. In June, he shared the Drake and Quavo-assisted single "Bigger Than You," which is expected to appear on his upcoming album. Rap Or Go To The League does not yet have a release date.
