JayDaYoungan was arrested this weekend in Miami during Rolling Loud weekend.

JayDaYoungan was expected to perform at Rolling Loud Miami this weekend but unfortunately, some legal troubles derailed his plans. The rapper was arrested for felony drug possession in Florida's Gadsden Count area after a traffic stop. According to XXL, he was released on $2500 bond following his unfortunate arrest. His team issued a statement to the publication about his arrest.

"Jay was scheduled to perform alongside Yungeen Ace at the Rolling Loud Festival and we know his fans were looking forward to seeing him there," a rep for JayDaYoungdan said. "Obviously, we were all disappointed. We hope to have more updates on Monday."

Tallahassee Democrat reports that the rapper was pulled over by Florida Highway troopers for speeding on Interstate 10.  "A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted due to the odor of marijuana emitting from the interior of the vehicle," FHP said in a news release.

The vehicle was searched and police discovered 20 grams of weed, drug paraphernalia, and oxycodone pills. Police said they discovered a loaded firearm on one of the four occupants in the car. Three of the occupants, including JayDaYoungan, were arrested while the other occupant was released on a notice to appear in court.

JayDaYoungan was ultimately charged with felony possession of a controlled substance without a prescription. The rapper's arrest prevented him from performing at Rolling Loud Festival in Miami on Saturday.
