KD expected to miss first two games of Western Conference Finals.

The Golden State Warriors will be without Kevin Durant for Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals on Tuesday night, and there's a chance we won't see him on the court until the series shifts to Portland for Games 3 and 4 this weekend.

According to ESPN's Ramona Shelburne, Durant is not being re-evaluated until Thursday so it's unlikely he'll be ready to play in Game 2 that night. The two-time NBA Finals MVP suffered a mild right calf strain in Golden State's Game 5 victory over the Houston Rockets last week and he did not travel with the team to Houston for their series-clinching victory.

Durant leads all players in points per game this post-season, averaging 34.2 a night to go along with 5.2 rebounds and 4.9 assists. In his absence in Game 6, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson combined for 60 points, as Steph led the team with 33, all of which came in the second half, while Klay pitched in 27.

Game 1 between the Warriors and Blazers, airing on ESPN, is set to tipoff at 9:00pm ET on Tuesday night.
