The Philadelphia 76ers were eliminated from the playoffs last night after an incredible buzzer-beater from Kawhi Leonard of the Toronto Raptors. With the Sixers now out of championship contention, there have been some rumors and chatter amongst those around the league as to whether or not their head coach, Brett Brown, will be fired. The team has been eliminated in the second-round two years in a row now and some feel as though a change needs to be made. Sixers star Joel Embiid is having none of those rumors and shut them down today.

"Bulls***," Embiid said according to columnist David Murphy. "He's done a fantastic job. He's been there through everything. This year I think he grew even more as a coach. He learned, we all learned. At the end of the day it comes down to the players. I don't think he should have anything to worry about. He's an amazing coach, a better person. ... If there was someone to blame, I mean, put it all on me."

Brown has been receiving support from other players such as JJ Redick and has been coaching the team for six seasons now. He was also with the team when they finished with a 10-72 record back in 2015-2016.
