Before there was a music festival in every major city, Lollapalooza was already organizing some of the biggest artists in the world for their annual gettogether. The Chicago festival is one of a few that will be taking place in the city this year but it's easily the biggest. Regularly recruiting huge stars, Lolla is a must for people considering a festival circuit in the summer. This year, they decided to unveil part of their line-up in a creative way, using puppies to display who will be performing at the show.
Usually, big-time events will announce their lineup through a social post. Lolla operates on a different level though. They wanted to play around with some cute doggos so they did just that. Partnering with Paws Chicago, the organizers had dogs walk around in a play area with balls, moving around objects to reveal an artist's picture while giving the audience hints. It takes a while to discover just who will be performing but at least you get to watch ten minutes of dogs walking around.
This year is looking pretty stacked so far. The full line-up will be coming soon but already, Lil Wayne, Janelle Monae, Tame Impala, and more have been announced at the top of the card. In addition to the headliners, Lil Baby, Lil Skies, Gunna, J Balvin, Rosalia, and more are confirmed for the show. With many more acts to be revealed soon, check out the current lineup for Lollapalooza below.
