DMX has some new music on the way.

DMX became a free man on January 25th when he was released from jail after being locked for a year on tax fraud charges. Fans have been awaiting X's release for a while now and have been praying that the rapper is in a clear state of mind, considering his issues with drugs in the past. The rapper has been seen posing with fans and even performed a show at Mr. Ciao's this past weekend. While he hasn't exactly taken to social media and publicly announced anything, his good friend, producer Swizz Beatz is now taking to Instagram to provide some positive information on X's post-jail mind state.

“I just got off the phone with my brother DMX!” Swizz explained. “He told me this time he didn’t work out his body in jail he said he worked out his mind! He also said he’s about to make music for the people that need his truth and pain!”

Based on this latest post, it's safe to assume that some new DMX music is on the way, which is great to hear and could be a sign that the rapper has gotten his mental health in order. Perhaps he'll even do a song with Swizz Beatz.

Are you looking forward to some new DMX tracks?
