R. Kelly wants people to know he thinks he's innocent.

R. Kelly was arrested in Chicago last Friday for alleged sexual assaults. Kelly has been in the public eye quite a bit due to these allegations, especially with the Lifetime documentary Surviving R. Kelly being released back in January. Kelly has always maintained his innocence and of course, so has his legal team who have tried to discredit the alleged victims every step of the way. In an interview with Rolling StoneKelly's attorney Brian Nix said Kelly is upset at all of the allegations against him and that Lifetime's documentary was scripted and used as a way to hurt his career.

"Rob is disappointed by the unsubstantiated allegations of behavior that portrays him as a monster by people with a pecuniary motive," Nix said. "He believes that the scripted documentary by Lifetime has created collusion between and amongst female friends who have been converted to victims [...] The dissemination of information through media and social outlets have created an environment of possible collusion amongst female acquaintances who have been mistakenly coached to become victims."

Kelly is currently still in prison on $1 million bond. While he only has to pay $100,000 of that, he is still having trouble coming up with the money necessary.

Meanwhile, lawyer Michael Avenatti has submitted two sex tapes to the police that allegedly show R. Kelly engaging in sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old. There is reportedly a third sex tape of such kind on the way.
