This weekend was extremely eventful with tons of news coming out of Rolling Loud. The festival always lets its audience bring home lots of memories and the 2019 iteration of its homegrown fest was no different. With flashy performances from Cardi B, J.I.D, Lil Baby, Gunna, and more, many are announcing Lil Uzi Vert as the winner of this weekend. Much like he came through with his epic stage dive last year, Uzi brought some amazing news to his stage last night, telling the crowd that Eternal Atake is finally complete.
After so much label drama and outside influences changing the course of the album's trajectory, it looks like we might finally be hearing Eternal Atake in the coming weeks/months. According to Uzi himself, the album has been finished, with the performer telling all of Miami's hardest ragers that he completed the final song a few days ago. As captured by many of the fans in attendance, Uzi proceeded to ask his supporters if they're ready for the project and considering we've been waiting since the summer, a loud response was issued. After the crowd replied, Uzi played it coy and had a mic drop moment, simply saying "okay, bye" and walking off the stage.
The final moments are a little anticlimactic for fans that were expecting to hear some new music but at the end of the day, this is Uzi we're talking about. The man is a little bizarre and he does things his own way. Here's a list of things we want out of Eternal Atake.
