2 Chainz just delivered his new Freebase EP last night, and he stopped by Chelsea Lately last night to promote the project.
The hot topic however, was not Tity 2 Necklace's new music, but former-Clippers owner Donald Sterling's racist comments from last week. When asked about the controversy, Chainz offered a more sympathetic opinion than we've heard from the likes of Snoop Dogg and Meek Mill.
“A few of us here have said a few things to our friends, whether playing or being serious, that we’re glad it wasn’t recorded and given to TMZ,” he said, before adding, “At the end of the day, he fucked up.”
The Me Time rapper also commented on his recent plea deal for drug charges, for which he appeared in court earlier in the day, and was served with a sobriety bracelet. “He looked out for me,” he said. “I have stomach issues.”
