LeBron 16
These new LeBron 16's are like an astronaut suit.

Much like Michael Jordan, LeBron James has had his own sneaker with Nike ever since he came into the league 16 years ago. At this point, we're already onto the LeBron 16, which utilizes many of the same design concepts from the LeBron 15, but with a lower cut at the cuff. Multiple colorways of the shoe have come out at this point, including the "EQUALITY" pack which released for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Now Nike is taking a page out of the Paul George book with a special space-themed edition of the Lebron 16, but for the kids only.

The official colorway is dubbed "White/Laser Orange" as the majority of the knit upper is dressed in white, with an orange midsole and black tongue and heel. What is so interesting about these, is the removable patches on the back heel that are reminiscent of an astronaut outfit or a flight suit.

These patches can actually be placed on the tongue and reference Nike, LeBron James himself, as well as the American flag. The customizable nature of these shoes makes sense considering they're for kids who typically let their imaginations run wild.

As reported by Sole Collector, these will be dropping on February 1st for $160 USD.
