The Golden State Warriors are expected to repeat as NBA Champions this year. They have the best roster in the league and a plethora of talented players who know what it takes to win a championship. With the number one seed in the Western Conference, the Warriors drew the eighth-seeded Los Angeles Clippers in the first round. While the Warriors won game one easily, game two was a much different story, although it probably shouldn't have been. At one point, the Warriors were leading by 31 points but the Clippers got hot in the third quarter and obliterated the Warriors lead. The Clippers eventually won the game 135-131 in regulation.
With the win, the Clippers completed the largest comeback in NBA playoff history and they did it against one of the best teams ever assembled. It was a huge victory as the Clippers were able to tie the series at one game apiece as they head back to Los Angeles for games 3 and 4.
After the loss, Steph Curry spoke about what it felt like in the locker room and how the team will move on from the game.
"We felt worse in the locker room before in terms of all the different playoff experiences we've had," Curry explained, according to ESPN. "Again, that's the beauty of the playoffs. No matter what happens from game to game, it resets and you have another opportunity to build momentum between now and Thursday, be real honest about what went wrong in that second half, make adjustments, hold ourselves accountable."
