Heading into the last stretch of the season, the Philadelphia 76ers are looking pretty good. They defeated the Miami Heat on Thursday night by a score of 106-102 and improved their record to 38-21. They are no ranked fourth in the Eastern Conference and according to newly acquired player Tobias Harris, the team has some pretty hefty goals for the rest of the season.
"Our goal is to win every single game the rest of the season," Harris told The Philadelphia Inquirer. "We're going into every game like they are playoff games. That being said, in the East, there are a lot of good teams up there ahead of us. But if we handle our business, we can help ourselves and move up. We are not worried about anybody. We're ready to bring it."
One issue for the Sixers moving forward though is the absence of Joel Embiid who currently has soreness in his knee and is expected to miss the next week or so.
"We have to use these games ... even without Joel, to build chemistry," Harris said. "We have the right pieces to make things happen. So we have to build that chemistry back."
The 76ers will be back on the court Saturday at home against the Portland Trail Blazers.
