Lizzo made her Coachella debut this weekend taking the stage to perform some of her most popular songs for her adoring crowd. It seems as though the festival had a bad case of audio issues since Lizzo was yet another act to encounter glitching in their earpieces as well as music coming to a complete halt during sets.
The first mishap happened when Lizzo was performing her track "Worship" and the backing track cut out. Of course, Lizzo continued and just offered her fans an acapella version of her tune that was still appreciated. Lizzo's backup dancers were even continuing on a strong note, still busting out their dance moves sans music.
"It’s my first time playing Coachella, so ain’t nothing gonna fuck my time up, bitch!” she told the crowd according to Variety. “So when I’m headlining next time, I’m gonna need my motherfucking ears to work," she added, clearly aimed to the tech crew.
Everyone who was in the audience praised the singer for her efforts for still continuing the show no matter. "They'll look back on @lizzo's #coachella set as a masterclass for how to power through every technical and audio mishap possible like a boss and still put on an incredible performance. Respect. Someone owes her a *major* apology," one Twitter user wrote.
