Jennifer Lopez teased a preview of her new Chris Brown-penned single, "Same Girl" last week. The track is about how fame has not changed her, and she's still the "same Jenny from around the way" (sound familiar?).
Since she's once again embracing her Bronx routes, it makes sense that Lopez would recruit an artist who shares the same background for the remix, and it looks as though French Montana will be filling that position.
The rapper, who was born in Morocco, but grew up in the Bronx, posted a photo of himself and J. Lo in the studio yesterday, with the caption “#samegirl @jlo #staytuned #southbronx #working.”
Jenny apparently has work with Future, Big Sean, Robin Thicke, and DJ Mustard in the cut for her forthcoming album, which will be her 10th.
