Maxo Kream has been quiet for a minute, riding the wave of his early 2018 Punken album. While the project solidified his status in the eyes of his fanbase, many felt that Maxo had yet to fully realize his potential on a mainstream level. Of course, the Houston rapper has no shortage of talent, frequently delivering a blend of hard-hitting trap music and darkly comedic gallows humor. Now, with the year ripe for the taking, Maxo has lined up his first new single of the year, promising a "story" for the ages.
Taking to Twitter, Maxo revealed the track's official artwork, showcasing his form in all its glory; for what it's worth, it looks like the lyricist has slimmed down of late, perhaps a residual side-effect of spitting fire in the booth. Not to mention, Mike Dean seems to be involved in a production capacity, using his platform to build hype for the young Maxo's upcoming single. Stay tuned for some new Maxo Kream, dropping tonight at the strike of twelve.
