This guy has a lot of time on his hands.

When you think of Martin Scorsese's 2006 film The Departed is there anything in particular that bothers you about the two-hour and 31-minute movie? Well for one fan, the ending that sees a rat run across a window sill is something he's not here for. A man named Adam Sacks has seriously pulled in close to $5,000 USD to get the movie digitally edited to remove the ending with the rat.

"If you've seen The Departed, you know it's a great Scorsese film," the official Kickstarter campaign reads. "Unfortunately, The Departed has one huge problem. The movie ends with the painfully on the nose metaphor of an ACTUAL RAT crawling across screen. It's always bothered me that a movie as good as The Departed has such a cheesy ending, and I recently realized it could be fixed by digitally erasing the rat from the last shot."

Adam lists all the steps and costs it will take to properly get the ending digitally erased and produce 50 limited edition copies.

Some people feel as strongly as Adam, but for the sake of keeping the rat in the film. Peep those reactions below.
