UFC Flyweight champion Henry Cejudo has publicly expressed his love for WWE star Nikki Bella in the days since his victory at UFC on ESPN+ 1, and it seems to be paying off.

TMZ Sports recently caught up with Bella, who said she's definitely down to have some wine with the champ and see where things go from there. Check out her comments in the video embedded below (the Cejudo talk start around the 1:20 mark).

Here's how we got to this point:

Following his stunning 32-second victory against Bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw at UFC on ESPN+ 1 last Saturday night in Brooklyn, Cejudo spoke with ESPN's Ariel Helwani about his crush on Nikki, and how he was actually seated near her on his recent flight.

"Nikki Bella has been my biggest crush so when she was sitting next to me, I was like, [Freaking out] 'How am I gonna approach this?' Then I thought, my little niece is nine years old and she loves the Bella Twins. She was Nikki Bella for Halloween and had a Bella birthday theme. I approach them and was like, 'Can you give my niece a shoutout?' She was super nice. I’m single, trilingual and ready to mingle."

Bella then responded to Cejudo's comments on Ariel Helwani's MMA show by saying she'd like to train with him, or go out for some drinks. She also posted the following on twitter, "Guess for your next fight @HenryCejudo I’ll have to sit next to you again on the flight... Must have been a good luck charm! And bring your niece! Love to hug her Congrats Champ! Celebratory wine soon!"
