Pecks is a 19-year-old MC from Orange County, CA who claims, "Music saved my life." His track "Dirtball," from the mixtape Above Common Knowledge, has been selected as one of this week's Heatseekers.
Produced by Donel Smokes, the track is based around a pitched-down vocal sample and casually stuttering percussion that give "Dirtball" a warped, druggy feel. That's fitting, as the song mostly centers on Pecks talking about slinging drugs. All in all, a promising outing from the self-proclaimed "dirtball" Pecks, who recently opened for RiFF RAFF.

Quotable Lyrics:
Too clean for a dirtball
He slang too mean, might hurt y'all
Weed smoke, a Swisher of the ganja
Whether it's my lady, sister or my mama
