2012 DB Dunks re-releasing on Friday.

Nike is celebrating 15 years of sneaker collabs with the inspiring, young patients of Doernbecher Children's Hospital by re-releasing some of the all-time classics. Already this week we've seen the return of the 2015 DB Nike Air Max 95, as well as the 2013 DB Nike Air Foamposite One.

According to @J23App, the next Doernbecher sneaker to receive the retro treatment will be the Nike SB Dunk High that debuted in 2012.

The kicks were created in 2012 by 10-year-old Finnigan Mooney, who had already been through 13 heart surgeries at the time. As a nod to his ongoing battle, Mooney's Nike SB Dunk High features a human heart graphic on the yellow leather upper, along with the words "THUMP THUMP" on the heel.

The special edition Doernbecher Dunks will reportedly be up for grabs tomorrow, February 22 for the retail price of $120.
