For over two months, Wendy Williams has not been hosting her daytime talk show, instead relying on guest hosts to speak about the day's hot topics. The iconic voice was recovering from a shoulder fracture, taking an extended leave of absence to get well. On top of that, she has been involved in one of the hottest topics of the year. Her husband, Kevin Hunter, is rumored to have gotten another woman pregnant. Here's the kicker: she lives just down the street from their family and he has apparently been sneaking around for over a decade. While that has not been addressed as the reason for her hiatus, many fans of the show have speculated that she's been working on her family problems.
Also in the rumor mill, her production staff are allegedly fed up of having Wendy as their boss, preferring to work with somebody like Nick Cannon, who was a guest host in her absence. If those reports are to be believed, they'll be upset to hear that Williams is officially making her return to TV in a matter of weeks.
According to Page Six, Wendy is set to return on March 4. "Wendy Williams is an incredible talent with the most unique voice in daytime," wrote the show's production company Debmar-Mercury in a statement. "We can’t wait to welcome her back to her iconic purple chair on the set of her show. We so appreciate all of the guest hosts and panelists who filled in for Wendy during this time. These people are, and always will be, true family to the show. And we want to thank all of the loyal and supportive fans who have been with us for 10 years now."
Hopefully, she's actually returning this time and it isn't a false alarm like when she preemptively announced her return last month. Will you be tuning in?
