Kanye West isn't done his slew of interviews just yet, and with these interviews we can usually count on some quotable gems and some controversy. His perceived anti-semitic remarks resulted from the Breakfast Club interview while Ye complety spazzed out during his conversation with Sway In The Morning.
Sway has since responded to the incident and even made "You Ain't Got The Answers" t-shirts. In response to the heated moment Sway said, "For the record, I love Kanye West. That's my little brother. Everything Kanye said, I think is true. In fact, I believe in everything he's trying to do. Ya'll should listen to the message he said in that interview."
Now Kanye has also addressed his moment of uncool, blaming it on Sway for asking a "dumb ass question" which caught him off guard.
During a radio interview with The Morning Riot on WGCI 107.5 the topic arose when an interviewer asked Ye whom he considers more skilled than himself and who he'd like to collaborate with. Kanye said that he considered every one he works with more skilled than him at something, going on to say,
"Like when I had that interview with Sway and he caught me off-guard with that dumb ass question, like 'Why don't you do it yourself?' What I don't like about what he did is that you know that there's all these people gunning for me, and you know the only reason why I talk about production and factories is because I want to bring more ideas to the world. I want to make a bigger contribution. And so when we talk about someone who can do something better than me, if I said I wanted to make my own sneaker as hot as the Jordan, but I'm gonna do it without Nike or without adidas, how do you think that sneaker is going to come out? It'll come out like it was made out of some cardboard or some fabric. I can't mention anybody's shoes, but it wouldn't have been the Yeezys. If I tried to make my child [North West] without Kim Kardashian, she wouldn't have come out as good."
