The Carters are fresh off the buzz from the Brit Awards, where they claimed the title of Best International Group. A couple of photos, along with a message of gratitude, were shared with Bey's social media following. The couple also shot a short clip for the occasion. Check out their artsy flex after the jump.
A painted portrait of Megan Markle is the centerpiece of both the photos and the video. Beyonce explains the tribute in a celebratory caption. "In honor of Black History Month, we bow down to one of our Melanated Monas," the diva wrote. "Congrats on your pregnancy! We wish you so much joy."
The singer also recalled the very first time she won the same award with Destiny's Child back in the day. "Thank you to the Brits for the award for Best International Group. I won this award back in 2002 with my besties, Kelly and Michelle," she notes, before turning the admiration to her husband. "How lucky am I to have been in a group with my other best friend, the GOAT Hova. 🙌🏾"
In 2018, The Carters put on an immense show to support their EVERYTHING IS LOVE album. The One The Run II Tour was a success, earning $253,514,982 in revenue.
