Lonzo Ball
Ball has had a tumultuous two years with the Lakers.

Lonzo Ball has been out with an ankle sprain and a bone bruise since January 19th after a game against the Houston Rockets. Ever since Ball's injury, his name has been mentioned in trade rumors. Perhaps the biggest trade rumor of them all was when the Los Angeles Lakers were trying to acquire Anthony Davis from the New Orleans Pelicans. Despite all of the noise, Ball explained that he's not worried about being traded.

"At the end of the day, you can only control the things that you can control," Ball said to The Athletic. "If I get traded, then I get traded. But I'm going to be ready to go. The goal is to be the best player I can for whichever team."

Ball will not play the rest of the season and instead, will be focusing on rehab. The Lakers sophomore is excited about the future and has a good feeling when it comes to his health moving forward.

"I'm very, very motivated," Ball said. "I want to be the best I can be. I'm looking forward to this summer. I don't look at it as added pressure, because I haven't had a full summer yet to dedicate to myself. I have to keep working on my craft. I'm just happy that I'm going to be healthy. It's been frustrating. This is the second year that this has happened. But I have to stay positive, stay motivated."

The Lakers are 11th in the Western Conference with a record of 31-37.
