Looks like Bell is on his way out of Steel town.

Earlier we reported that the Pittsburgh Steelers were not going to use the franchise or transition tag on Le'Veon Bell, which means the star running back will become a free agent. Bell ended up sitting out all of last season during a contract dispute and the Steelers finally came to the conclusion that he wasn't worth the tag. The last few weeks have been rough for Steelers fans considering the team is now going to lose both Bell and wide receiver Antonio Brown. Both of these players have had very public disputes with the team and it's clear the Steelers have mishandled their situations.

Today, Bell took to Twitter to express his excitement, saying: "Free at last, Free at last, Thank God Almighty I am free at last."

"Le'Veon is still a great player," Pittsburgh Steelers GM Kevin Colbert told reporters. "We can't afford to use any other type of tags. Le'Veon will be an unrestricted free agent at the start of the new league year."

The Steelers missed the playoffs last season after finishing with a record of 9-6-1. Without Bell and Brown, the offense will be in for a tough season, unless Ben Roethlisberger and JuJu Smith-Schuster can have career years.
