Simone Biles is an incredibly talented gymnast for the United States National Olympic Team has been racking up medals ever since she was a teenager. Now, at 22 years old, Biles is one of the most accomplished gymnasts in the world and continues to enjoy success in her sport. This past week, Sports Illustrated revealed the three cover models for their Swimsuit Issue and they've also been showcasing some of the women that will appear throughout the pages. Biles appeared in the magazine back in 2017 and will be reappearing this year, according to the Daily Mail.

"To be a part of this magazine means everything, just because they celebrate women's empowerment, so it's really — it's an honor," Biles explained in a video made by Sports Illustrated.

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue editor MJ Day spoke about Simone and her transformation into a model for the magazine shoot.

"Everyone is so used to seeing Olympic Simone, and we get to hang out with Simone the woman, who just wants to feel beautiful," Day said. "She looks like she grew up. Like, they haven't seen her like this anywhere really."

As for the cover models, those honors went to Tyra Banks, Camille Kostek, and soccer star Alex Morgan.
