Over the last few seasons, one of the most dominant receivers in the NFL has been Dez Bryant, formerly of the Dallas Cowboys. Last season, the 30-year-old didn't play a single game as he was cut by the Cowboys before the season and then suffered an Achilles injury in November. Since then, Bryant has been nursing his injury and is currently working out so that he can get back into game shape in time for the 2019 season. Of course, he'll need to bank on a team signing him, although as his trainer told TMZ, that shouldn't be a problem.
David Robinson has been running Bryant's training sessions as of late and he believes Dez still has what it takes to be Pro Bowl wide receiver.
"The attitude, the mindset is still there," Robinson said. "He's out to prove a lot of people wrong. He's back in the grind mode of when he was coming out of Lufkin High School!"
Bryant has been criticized in the past for his attitude but as Robinson articulated, it appears as though Dez has turned over a new leaf.
"I definitely can tell, [Dez] is a lot more serious this go around," the trainer said.
If Bryant does get back into the NFL, it will be interesting to see which team decides to take him. We all know what he can bring to the table when he's healthy.
