If you're a fan of anything related to Bonnie and Clyde then Netflix's upcoming film, The Highwaymen, will be something you're down for since it tells the untold true story of the two men who brought down Bonnie and Clyde. Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson will play Frank Hamer and Maney Gault who were former Texas Rangers set to take down the two bank-robber lovers.
"When the full force of the FBI and the latest forensic technology aren’t enough to capture the nation’s most notorious criminals, two former Texas Rangers (Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson) must rely on their gut instincts and old school skills to get the job done," the Netflix bio reads.
The trailer for the flick, as seen below, promises enough action and a little bit of drama to keep us intrigued for the final premiere. Kathy Bates also stars in the movie playing the city's mayor who questions if the Texas Rangers have it in them to take down the killers.
John Lee Hancock serves as director, with previous works being The Blind Side. The movie hits exclusive theatres on March 15th and premieres globally on Netflix March 29th - peep the teaser below.
