A Florida dad has been arrested after he showed up to his son's school with an AK-47, upon receiving a phone call in which his son was crying. The protective dad decided to head to Bear Lakes Middle School in West Palm Beach to deal with the situation with a gun on hand, ABC News reports.

Twenty-seven-year-old Christopher Freeman arrived at the school in a wheelchair looking for the teacher that allegedly slammed his son. When he arrived on the school grounds, he told staff they would all be dead if they didn't let him speak with his son. "Freeman was visibly upset and was yelling and screaming 'you're going to need more than what you got because of what I got,'" according to the arrest affidavit. "He also said 'I want to see the guy who slammed my son. I've got something for him.'"

Apparently, when Christopher was on the phone with his son, he was grabbed by an adult and the phone line went dead, sparking him to head to the school right away.

Christopher is charged with possession of a firearm on school grounds, aggravated assault with a weapon and disrupting the peace. He's being held on a $75,000 bond.
