Apex Legends is going to be repackaged for mobile users, believe it or not. Respawn and Electronic Arts agreed that a mobile version was the logical step in the game's development, with respect to maintaining its popularity in the consumer market.
EA made this revelation during a call to its shareholders. Also on the docket (besides the company's quarterly earnings): plans for a Titanfall battle royale variant on mobile devices. Although they didn't explicitly state it, one would assume that entails dual iOS and Android compatibility, as you'd expect from a project of this magnitude and outreach.
"We are in advanced negotiations to bring Apex Legends to China and mobile, and we will update you on time frames when those negotiations are concluded," an EA rep stated during the conference call.
Yep, the Titanfall title and Apex Legends will be offered to Chinese consumers as well. Respawn is also in the midst of testing the beta version of a card game based on the Titanfall universe. The usually quiet Respawn dev. team will be asked to contribute at EA Play in June with updates on "Apex Legends Season 2." Is any of this of interest to you, hit us with your thoughts?
