Isaiah Rashad details the vibe of his upcoming EP "Cilvia."

Isaiah Rashad is the newest signee to the Top Dawg label, and that alone means the expectations are high for his debut proper release, Cilvia. We heard about Cilvia in November, however at that time details were scarce and it was unclear if this was a mixtape or an album. As it turns out, it's an EP.

In a recent interview with Revolt TV, Rashad expanded on his previous explanation of Cilvia, and also revealed that fact that it will be an Extended Play. "I just wanna take you on a ride. Imagine getting off work at 6 PM, and you don't go home, you with your homies, and you get home at 6 AM, that's what my project is," the TDE rapper previously said about the project.

Speaking to Revolt, the Chattanooga native detailed the vibe you can expect on Cilvia. "The vibe [is like] when you cleanin' up around, you throw something on, and you just vibin' to it," he said. "You just catch the feelin'. That's how it's supposed to be. That's how I want my music to feel. That's what stuck with me when I was a kid. Even now, in the music I listen to, I like the stuff I can just throw on at any time. I don't like music that's just party-appropriate... Just create a vibe. Take me out of where I'm at, bring me somewhere else."

Rashad also revealed that the project would be completely solo-- no guest spots from his TDE label mates. "I didn't want to get signed and then cheat, use the cheat code," he explained. "I could've did the cheat code and got Kendrick, and got [ScHoolboy] Q, and got [Ab-Soul]... I just kept it by myself."

Watch the interview below where he also discusses his goals for 2014. Stay on the look out for Cilvia, as it has no release date yet.
