“Got a show in LA Sunday, then New York Monday; Looking at the BET cypher like I’ll be there one day” - Logic
Even from his lyrics in “Nasty”, Def Jam’s Logic has been foreshadowing his opportunity at the BET cyphers. However, it looks like the Maryland native recently had his chance, but had to turn it down.
In a recent interview with Montreality, Logic revealed that he was asked to partake in this year’s BET cypher, but had to turn it down due to his current tour and scheduling situation. He said,
“By the time we got the call, we were already on the road. They literally hit us up and we’re like “can you be out here in L.A. tomorrow?” I was already in the middle of America with Kid Cudi, but shit, what a great reason to turn it down, to be out here with one of my idols.”
Logic later talked about his dream collab with Eminem, or should I say Slim Shady as he puts it. He also goes on to discuss his thoughts on the Kendrick Lamar’s “Control” verse, his upbringing as a kid, and a whole lot more.
